Quality Engineer

About the role

Quality Engineer is responsible for Quality Planning & Customer Satisfaction

Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (IATF16949/ISO9001)

Responsible to handle the customer specific requirements, customer complaints and feedback within defined response time

What you will do

Quality Planning

  • QMS IATF16949 /ISO 9001 committee secretary
  • Draws up, review and control QMS document, quality procedures, work instructions and workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date and follow document control of QMS
  • Training & Handling SAP system
  • Monitors & reports on quality-related team KPIs
  • Support and conduct internal/external audits and management of audit results, actions and completion within agreed timeframes.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensuring conformance to customer requirements
  • Coordinate and conduct customer visit/3rd Party
  • Handle the customer complaints and query regarding quality
  • Investigates and handles customer complaints and non-conformances.
  • PPAP submission according to customer requirement
  • Other assignments as deemed necessary

Responsible for/ participate in Safety, Health, Environment & Sustainability requirements/ activities of the Department/ function

What you will need

Educational qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required

Majoring in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering is a plus

Relevant experience

  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and document control system operations
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO9001
  • Understanding of ISO14001 and Health and Safety practices is a plus
  • Familiar with 8D disciplines, 5Why, statistical analysis and Coretools (APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA & especially PPAP)
  • Additional certification in Quality Assurance, Internal Auditor are plus
  • Fluent both written and oral in English.
