IT Service Delivery Technician

tesa tape is a leading manufacturer of pressure-sensitive adhesives serving the paper and print, appliance, automotive, building supply, electronics, and transportation industries, among others. We have over 7,000 self-adhesive products and system solutions and about 5,000 employees worldwide. We hold the original tape patent and create about 100 new innovations per year. 

We are seeking an IT Service Delivery Technician who will be responsible for supporting company employees with installation, repair, upgrade and introductory training of computer systems and associated software. 

What you will do:
  • Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
  • Install, configure, and repair computer hardware, software, and related devices.
  • Schedules and performs maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of end user equipment.
  • Responsible for inventory of computer related hardware and accessories.
  • Ensure proper routing and escalation of Service Desk tickets.
  • Remain current on new technology that may be applicable within the organization.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by IT Management.

What you will need: 

  • Requires: CompTIA A+ Certification within 6 months of hire date
  • 2 Years’ experience in the following or related areas:
  • PC hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Microsoft Windows based PC hardware and software support
  • Self-starter, works under general supervision
  • Demonstrate successful team member experiences
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport
  • Must be willing and able to travel, including internationally (up to 15%)
