HR Generalist France

About the role

In this role, you are part of the HR team, located in Paris and will be the point of contact for HR Admin matters for the hub South West Europe - France.
This position assists the HR Manager in implementing and executing HR processes and projects in line with the business strategy.

  • Act as a first point of contact for employees in personnel and labor law related questions 
  • Maintain HR records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, tracking vacation, sick, personal time and etc. Ensure data accuracy & quality in HR systems
  • Manage the employee documentation & data base in HR systems
  • Close collaboration with HR Manager & HRBP.
  • Ensure alignment and compliance and proper execution of agreed actions, processes, precedures with the Region (France)

What you will do

Data & Processes:

  • Maintain data in the HR-systems of the local people (e.g. LMS, employee files, Payroll, Time recording, etc.) in compliance with GDPR
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance internal & external 
  • Take the lead in reviewing and renewing local company policies and legal compliance and ensure the right communication within the organization. Ensure the execution of HR policies & procedures
  • Assistance in Audit Management
  • Employee life cycle administration all country related

Employee relations:

  • Advise employees on legislation and HR policies 
  • Assistance in management of employee representatives & works council relation and be the 1st point of contract for them 
  • Support the execution of employee surveys & engagement activities and ensure the follow-up 
  • Point of reference on legislation (eg:indexation) & Communication in cooperation with legal representative. Labour safety. 

Recruitment process: 

  • Execution of the whole recruitment process of the vacancies in cooperation with HR Manager
  • Onboarding & Off Boarding Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • Point of Contact for the external payroll services
  • Assistance in the execution of bonus payment & salary increase and ensure the proper documentation  
  • Manage local benefit, insurance and pension schemes, well – being programs 
  • Close collaboration to HRM related to all benefits 

Training & Development:

  • Assistance in the roll out of corporate/regional development programs and local individual training needs. Maintain Learning Management System records. 

Projects: Contribute to/Lead HR projects 

What you will need

Experiences

  • Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience of working in human resources with primary responsibility for HR administration or similar in a medium to large organization, preferably international
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, training & development and organizational change as well as knowledge of HR methodologies and business processes will be a plus
  • Modern ways of recruitment are of advantage

Knowledge and educational level:

  • Bachelor degree in Business administration degree in sociology, psychology, equivalent qualification or  relevant training
  • Business fluent in English and French spoken and written, additional languages advantageous 
  • Knowledge in labour legislation, social security law, GDPR, payroll
  • Strong of MS Office knowledge
  • Knowledge of HR systems & payroll systems are of advantage
