Electrical Engineer

About the role

Production machine and facility equipment maintenance; keeping machine run in high availability, project implementation.

What you will do

  • Work closely with Process, EHS, Production, QA and other departments to provide information and technical support on daily operation and troubleshooting of equipments.
  • Deeply study the equipment status, analyze the potential safety and breakdown factors, then optimize the maintenance plan.
  • Provide and carry out emergency repair to ensure minimum machine downtime.
  • Participate and implement machine’s continuous improvement project.
  • Provide technical support for new projects, including equipment updates.
  • Electrical spare parts management.
  • Responsible for making the safety technical measures plan and hidden danger rectification plan of the electrical equipment, and timely checking and implementation.
  • Responsible for the establishment and management of electrical equipment files to meet the requirements of safety technical specifications and technical standards.
  • Responsible for researching and solving safety and technical problems in production process, and actively carry out optimization and innovation.

What you will need

Educational qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, major in electrical automation.

Relevant experience

  • At least 5 years related work experience
  • Good understanding of invertor, PLC programing (Siemens/ Mitsubishi/ Allenbradley…)
  • Good at troubleshooting and problem-solving skill
  • Related knowledge of electrical safety management
  • Background in similar industry is a plus
  • Familiar with SAP system is prefered
  • Have knowledge about Ex-proof standard (ATEX/ IECEx) is a plus
  • Good English communication skills, both in speaking and writing
