ACCOUNT MANAGER – Industrial Trade and Converting

As an Account Manager you will par of a Nordic team in a European organization. You will be tasked with the delivery of continued growth within the Norwegian market, with a dedicated focus on our Industrial Distribution partners. You will be responsible for finding new business opportunities, managing your project pipeline, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately delivering firm results to the organization.
You will report to Jonas Andersen, Sales Manager Industrial Trade & Converting, Nordic: “I am a strong believer of freedom with responsibility and you will be given the opportunity (or expected??) to plan your own working. Your Responsibilities

  • Builds up/expands the customer relationship with the aim of achieving the agreed sales and margin target figures
  • Provide fact-based information and customer access to improve the Marketing mix and complement the technology/product pipeline
  • Increase sales and manage profitability of Key Accounts 
  • Is fully responsible for the long-term management
  • Lead the strategic development of the Accounts by setting PNS and profitability target together with the Sales Manager
  • Continuous development of project pipe-line quality achieving the set KPIs for Weighted Project Potential and value of WON Projects.
  • Takes a specific business development role to develop new customers\markets
  • Deployment of new product launches with responsibility for the specification process / listings in the assigned market segments
  • Analyze Key account development & evaluate profitability and drive the necessary (corrective) measures (Key Account plan)
  • Build a robust tesa network (with Mkg – R&D – CSC – controlling functions) (across complex customer buying centre)
  • Is able to consider multiple dimensions to build a power offer: products, services, process integration
  • Can manage product co-development project with all contractual documentation
  • Define a mid term strategic plan for Key account customer
  • Manage complex price and contract negotiations within complex buying centre
