Independent and autonomous work in a manageable team of patent attorneys with the opportunity to take on various tasks from different areas of intellectual property protection
The main focus of your work is the protection of our developments in Germany and abroad by patents and utility models
You will conduct cancellation, opposition, or appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office, as well as nullity suits
Defend tesa against attacks by third parties or enforce your own patents in infringement proceedings
Your area of responsibility also includes monitoring the competition, evaluating third-party intellectual property rights, and preparing expert opinions
Participation in the conclusion of contracts, in particular non-disclosure, license and development agreements
University degree as chemist (m/f/x), engineer (m/f/x) or physicist (m/f/x) with good knowledge of polymer chemistry as well as process engineering
Knowledge of intellectual property law through several years of professional experience in an industrial patent department or a law firm in an international environment
Knowledge of German and European patent law is mandatory, knowledge of US and Chinese patent law desirable
Training as a patent assessor (m/f/x) or European Patent Attorney
Fluent in Business English
High level of commitment, ability to work in a team and confident demeanor
