We are looking for a Business Development Supervisor to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers, and trigger internal / external discussions in order to identify new product application opportunities, and help tesa understand the dynamics of the GreenTech and Smart Manufacturing, and other emerging markets. You will work closely with BUs‘ Marketing, R&D, CSC, Product Management, and Business Development Team in HQ.
Principal Accountabilities/Main Functions
1)Developing and sustaining positive and solid relationships with potential customers‘ at different levels of hirachy.
2)Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events. Jointly working with functional teams and get prepared for marketing campaign plans. Take the lead for executions.
3)Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as business opportunities, present tesa to potential customers, identify customer pains & needs, propose appropriate products/solutions.
4)Drive collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop plans for adapting existing product portfolios to new business opportunities.
5)Drive product research initiatives to understand future impacts on product offerings and R&D activities.
6)Take over responsibilities for assigned customers, lead internal / external communication accross tesa and customers‘ fuctional teams.
7)Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competition landscape, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
8)Keep a good track of information brought back from the market and classify them in a segmented and presentable manner.
9)Report to the Line Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) progresses and achievements.
10)Aid with the creation of marketing material to be used across various channels to promote our business.
11)Assist function leader to finish the other assignment accordingly.
Requirements & Qulifications
1) Education Background
1. Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, marketing, or related field.
2) Skills/Capabilities/Working Experience Requirement
1. Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative/Manager, Application engineer, program manager, or other similar roles.
2. Min. 3 years’ work experience in Robotics or New energy sector. Experience with hydrogen fuel cell and industry tape is a plus.
3. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Strong organization and project management skills.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, highly self-motivated, open minded and a team player.
5. Passionate about business development, and capable of working independently.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
3)Languages, Certificates and Skills
1. Good level of communications in English.
4)Other Requirements
1. Business travel is required.
