Master Data Analyst

The Master Data Analyst will support operations by continuously monitoring and analyzing the master data system, key data, and master data within the organization. This role is focused on querying and analyzing the business performance to facilitate improvement to the Business Unit criteria, processes, and activity decisions being taken.  The Master Data Analyst will also play an essential role in carrying out strategic projects, including but not limited to the rollout of a new client self-service portal called tesa PRO.

Responsibilities:
  • Improve existing automated master data and digital media management processes through effective master data stewardship.
  • Serve as subject matter expert associated with the content and processes and procedures involved with ERP/SAP
  • Ensures master data integrity in key systems, to include tesa PRO, as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality. Establish inventory levels and system forecasts (in conjunction with Marketing and Sales).  Work closely with customer care to confirm what our C and D customers have access to from a tesa PRO perspective
  • Support global data governance model that will establish and document data creation, update guidelines and decision rights
  • Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
  • Enter new item number set up information (Master data and tesa PRO)
  • Establishes global data governance policies and participates in the development and implementation of any regional data policies
  • Identify, discuss and execute process improvements, e.g. systems, processes & procedures.  Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field and at least two years’ experience within the supply chain planning environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong day to day contributor with a demonstrated ability to influence decisions based on data
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact in multi-cultural and international environment
  • Ability to network and build strong relationships  
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • SAP experience regarding supply chain strongly preferred
  • Project work or implementation experience with SAP a plus
  • Must maintain the ability to travel (domestically and/or internationally) up to 10%, as required
