The Market Development Manager, Automotive OEM/OES, in tandem with the corresponding sales, key account managers, and R&D colleagues, is responsible for the achievement of sales and margin plans of the Business Unit (BU), according to the Major Customer Group (MCGR) for the defined segments within the Automotive OEM/OES Market.
The Market Development Manager is responsible for developing North American Automotive customer needs in regards to our target applications. They are responsible for identifying unique value propositions, and driving our development pipeline towards innovation that matters to our OEM/OES customers. Additionally, the Market Development Manager – OEM/OES will drive projects from ideation through launch and implementation.
In alignment with the regional and global BU, define and develop new applications through customer interaction, market research, evaluation projects, market package development, training and implementation.
Work with R&D, Sales and Key account managers to create new products that solve customer problems and make us better.
Operative support for launching and maintaining defined products.
Maintain customer pricing system and quoting system
Assist with Creating and publishing marketing content (brochures, sample cards, PI sheets) needed for regular sales activities and to support trade shows and Linked In
Point of contact to sales team for product related information
